Victoria Beckham proved so popular with her one-off guest appearance on 'American Idol' that the former Spice Girl returned for another go. The 34-year-old mother-of-three agreed to star on the talent show for a reported £155,000 fee but denied the rumours that she was set to replace Paula Abdul on a permanent basis.
The singer-turned-fashion designer came back from her stint last Friday, which saw the star opening auditions in Denver, to hand out golden tickets in Boston to the lucky ones chosen to advance to the later stages in Hollywood.
But despite her return, Posh will not be back again, as she's going to be too busy with her fashion commitments.
Her spokesperson said: "There are no talks of her being a permanent judge. They felt she was natural in Denver. She has fashion week coming up and she is focusing on that."
Victoria recently explained that she was planning to play off Paula Abdul's friendly judging technique on the US talent show.
She said: "I want to be nice to people. I know how it feels to stand there and be judged ... I don't want to shatter anybody's dream, but at the same time there's nothing wrong with constructive criticism."
And it obviously went down a treat. Well done, Posh!
