According to The Mail On Sunday, the Harry Potter star has split from her long-term boyfriend Jay Barrymore after moving from their London home to study at Brown University in America.
Although it's reported that the break-up with the London city banker has been amicable, it has also been suggested that the actress has grown close to a fellow student, Spanish musician Rafael Cebrian, with a source claiming:
"Emma and Jay were in trouble for months and with Emma at Brown University in America the transatlantic gap proved too much for their relationship to survive. Emma has been spending a lot of time with Rafael and they are virtually inseparable.
"Rafael belongs to the Production Workshop, a student-run theatre group at Brown. He's been acting with them since he moved to the US and he has got Emma involved.
"This is a new experience for Emma and she's a little nervous about her performance but the play has already sold out. She's hoping it will be a critical success."
Let's hope it takes her mind off any heartache too.
