A celebrity feud, which is proving there's no age limit when it comes to some good old fashioned bitchiness, has started between two unlikely candidates. Step forward Hollywood legend Faye Dunaway and young starlet Hilary Duff.
The pair became embroiled in a war of words when Dunaway (who is 67 years old) responded to Hilary being cast as the lead in a remake of Bonnie & Clyde, a role originally made famous by Faye in 1967.
Faye said: Couldnt they have at least cast a real actress?"
We don't think her response could've been bitchier if she tried...
And Hilary, who always looked as though butter wouldn't melt, hasn't held back either and retorted:
I think that my fans that are going to go see the movie don't even know who she is."
She added:
I think it was a little unnecessary, but I might be mad if I looked like that now too.
Oh dear. Round one to Hilary we think.
