The widow of Jade Goody, Jack Tweed, was released from prison this morning after serving just half of his 12-week sentence. The 21-year-old, who served six-weeks in prison for assaulting a cabbie while on parole for attacking a 16-year-old, left Edmunds Hill jail in Suffolk this morning. And upon his exit he was greeted by a few close friends and his mother. It had been reported earlier this week that the 21-year-old would be met at the prison gates by fifteen of his friends and a party bus crammed with glamour models. Thankfully, this wasn't to be the case.
Tweed's apparent plans for his first day of freedom are said to include a Chinese meal with his mother and friends in east London and a trip to his late wife's grave in Epping Forest.
The former part-time model is also set to DJ at popular Z-List haunt, Faces in Essex on Sunday.
Jack Tweed was told by the judge upon sentencing that had it not have been for the death of wife Jade Goody, he would have served a longer sentence.
