Michael Jackson will extend his concert run at the 02 to 30 dates
Because of the massive demand for tickets for Michael Jackson's ten-date comeback stint at London's 02 Arena - over 1.5 million people from 200+ countries registered - promoters have announced that they are adding an extra 20 shows, meaning that Jacko will play nine more gigs than even Prince managed last year.
Whether the singer - or his deteriorating nose - will be able to make it through the ordeal is another matter. But he needs the money, and there is a potential £150m on the table, so he's going to do his best.
A set-list has also been leaked after promoters became worried that Jackson wouldn't play his hits.
A source said: "Bosses were concerned Michael might veer away from his greatest hits. He wanted to guarantee that this would not be the case and produced this list to reassure them.
"He’s toying with the idea of doing a Jackson 5 medley as well, and he’ll open with a four minute long intro to Billie Jean."
