Jade Goody has been transferred to a new hospital as she undergoes an emergency operation to relieve her from the crippling pain in her stomach. The cancer-striken 27-year-old has been moved to the Chelsea and Westminster hospital from the Royal Marsden where she has been receiving treatment for her illness. Publicist Max Clifford has confirmed that the star is having the operation in the hospital's oncology unit after earlier fears that Jade may not be well enough to undergo the procedure.
Max Clifford said:
"I asked her where the pain was and she said in her tummy, which is where it was before when they operated to remove a blockage in her bowel. She was sobbing and petrified."
He added:
"It's a continuing process but we hope they will be able to get things under control. She wants to go home. She doesn't want to be in hospital."
Meanwhile, Victoria and David Beckham have sent Jade a letter expressing their sympathy and support along with two AC Milan football kits for her two boys.
In the letter Posh wrote:
"David and I are moved by your fight against this cruel illness. We are both thinking of you at what must be a terrible time. We wanted to offer your lovely children a gift we hope they will like."
Jade hopes to be released from hospital over the weekend, when her boys are due to be christened.
