Jamie Foxx has sent his "sincerest" apologies to Miley Cyrus after he made cruel jokes at the Disney star's expense. The Oscar winning actor directed disparaging comments at the actress on his radio show over the weekend. Jamie had said that Miley needs " "to get a gum transplant ... make a sex tape ... do some heroin." He also suggested that she should "start seeing a lesbian" and "grow up."
But it seems 16-year-old Miley, who didn't respond to his ill-thought-out remarks, is more mature than 41-year-old Jamie.
Now the actor has offered his apologies to the star, claiming them just a joke, saying:
"I so apologize ... and this is sincere. I am a comedian, and you guys know that whatever I say, I don't mean any of it."
He added:"I have a radio show... We're really the black Howard Stern. We go at everybody. There was a situation with Miley Cyrus, and I just want to say, I apologize for what I said. I didn't mean it maliciously. You know I'm a comedian. You know my heart. Miley, I apologize, so I'll call you. I got a daughter too, so I completely understand."
Don't give up your day job Jamie...
