Jamie Lynn Spears has split up with boyfriend Casey Aldridge, with whom she has a three-year-old daughter, and moved back in with her mother. The 18-year-old Nickelodeon star, and sister to popstar Britney Spears, dated Casey when the pair were just 16 and announced that they would marry at some point after the birth of their child Maddy in 2007.
But a source has told People magazine: "She did a lot of growing up but he didn't. I think she put up with more than she cared to put up with. She just had enough of it and was tired of the situation."
And Jamie, who moved back in with mother Lynn six weeks ago, has reportedly already started dating 28-year-old James Watson, who owns a multimedia company in Los Angeles.
A Spears family friend claimed her new love interest was "a nice guy". Jamie Lynn and Casey called off their engagement in March last year, but had attempted to make a go of their relationship for the sake of their daughter.
