Last year's Jamiroquai performance on X Factor became very awkward to watch after judges Dannii and Cheryl refused to clap lead singer Jay Kay, after he had reportedly called them 'f***** useless'.
Well as it turns out, Jay Kay hasn't forgotten it and recently lashed out at the show for a second time, saying this about the pair's performance (via The Sun):
"Because that will really devastate me. 'If we don't clap we'll make him feel so bad he'll never want to work again.' "
He then went on to attack Cheryl for miming sections of her song Promise This when she performed on the show:
"If you're the mentor you should not mime on the show."
Finally, the singer dismissed the show itself, saying it wasn't a show about picking the best singers, but about revelling in others misfortune:
"A TV celebrity show, not a proper music thing"
It might be time for Jay Kay just to let it go...
