Not since Chantelle and Preston hooked up have we seen such a strange pairing... Jessica Simpson is reported to be dating up Smashing Pumpkins singer Billy Corgan.
He might be 13-years her senior, but that's not the main reason why it seems odd - Billy has always been very serious about his music, while Jessica has always been more famous for her gaffs (one of which was thinking that tuna was actually chicken). Still, speaking to E! News, a source confirmed the pairing and revealed:
"She [Jess] has fallen hard and is smitten."
Will she have more success with Billy than she had with Nick Lachey, John Mayer and Tony Romo? Only time will tell.
In the meantime, the pair have been photographed together in New York - unless it was actually Jess and Moby. The girl obviously has a thing for shiny-headed musicians.
