The ex-husband of Britney Spears has made a statement in the star's defence following claims from her former bodyguard that she engaged in "sex acts" in front of him and also abused their two children.
Fernando Flores is suing the 28-year-old 'Toxic' singer, alleging sexual harassment, emotional distress and the physical abuse of her two boys, Sean Preston, four, and Jayden James, three.
We reported last month that the child abuse case claim by Flores, in which he alleged that Britney deliberately gave her kids food they were allergic to, was dropped after an investigation by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services found the allegations to be false.
But the sordid claims continue, and now Flores is alleging that Britney repeatedly "exposed herself" to him, walked around her home naked, and even masturbated in front of him.
The bodyguard, who worked with Britney earlier this year for several months, alleges that she made "unwanted sexual advances" towards him and that she once "savagely" hit her son Sean Preston with Flores' belt.
But 32-year-old Federline has now insisted that Flores' sordid allegations are fabricated for his own financial gain.
His lawyer has told Associated Press: "The allegations are a product of economic motives...They are as baseless as they seem."
And he also added that Federline would have intervened had the claims been true.
He said: "I think that the timing of this and the nature of the allegations speak for themselves."
Britney and Federline were married for two years before divorcing in 2007. Federline has primary custody of Sean and Jayden.
