Kanye and Taylor's backstage chat

Hoorah! Kanye West and Taylor Swift have finally let bygones be bygones with an intimate chat backstage at last night's MTV Video Music Awards. The 20-year-old country singer took to the stage at the glittering award ceremony in LA and publicly forgave the 32-year-old rapper and singer in a song she wrote about his stage storming at the bash last year.
Kanye infamously invaded the stage when Taylor accepted her VMA for Best Female Video in 2009 and interrupted the singer to insist that Beyonce should have won the award instead.
But Taylor was clear to put the past behind the pair, performing a song she wrote about the experience, including the lyrics: "Everyone of us has messed up, too ... I hope you remember today is never too late to be brand new. 32, and still growin' up now, who you are is not what you did. You're still an innocent."
Kanye referred to the incident during his performance, rapping: "I always find something wrong; you've been putting up with my sh** for too long."
And now Usmagazine.com are claiming that the pair had a quiet chat together before the VMAs backstage, with a source adding: "Kanye got word she was going to do the song about him and wanted to talk it out. Taylor felt bad. They talked and everything is good between them now.
"But they promised to keep what they spoke about between them."
