A source told The Sun: "Kate is usually out and about at the weekends but no one has seen her for a couple of days.
"She has obviously taken the break-up very hard. Kate has had so many failed relationships. She is very unlucky in love and feels incredibly hurt.
"Her friends are there for her and will help her get through this painful time."
You can just imagine Pete Doherty sitting in his flat (probably in some dirty underpants) rubbing his hands with glee at the prospect of having another shot at the love of his life...
