Katie Price dumps Alex Reid after exiting the jungle
Oh dear, that's a bit embarrassing. Alex Reid jetted to the other side of the world to propose to Katie Price, only to arrive and get dumped. It sort of reminds us of that whole awkward Cerys Matthews Marc Bannerman affair.
According to the Daily Mail, Alex was summoned to Jordan's hotel room, where, instead of the sexy reunion he was expecting, he was told that she was fed up with him 'making money from her'.
Later, while speaking to Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly live on air for the first time since her departure, she revealed:
"I'm not with him [Alex].
"I realised it was best if I'm on my own. I don't want a relationship.
"I've come out a better person. For seven months I've acted like a right twit. I'm sorry if I've upset people.
"It made me reflect on my past. It made me realise I probably did act a right fool behaving the way I did."
She added that the jungle had brought back 'amazing memories' of her former husband; "I didn't want to be in there without Pete," she said.
We reckon they'll be back together by Christmas (Katie and Pete, that is, although there's probably just as much chance it'll be her and Alex).
Meanwhile, Lucy Benjamin has become the first I'm A Celebrity contestant to get evicted.
