Katie Price appeared on GMTV this morning to discuss life after her quickie marriage to Celebrity Big Brother winner Alex Reid in Las Vegas last week. The 31-year-old glamour model told presenters Ben Shepherd and Kate Garraway that they could address her as Mrs. Reid, and announced that she and Reid are already trying for children together.
The mother-of-three's only complaint was the way in which the public often villainised her. She asked the bemused hosts: "Why pick on me and Alex? We're so happy. I'm being treated like a serial killer! What have I actually done wrong?!"
Price, who is currently promoting the new series of her ITV2 reality show 'What Katie Did Next', also spoke about Peter Andre's teary interview on Sky News with presenter Kay Burley. The Aussie star walked out of the interview after Burley showed him clip of Dwight Yorke talking about Andre adopting his son Harvey, and asked a shocked Andre how he would feel if Reid attempted to adopt his children.
Price defended her ex-husband by adding: "Pete is a fantastic dad. He's absolutely brilliant with Harvey. I heard about the Sky News thing, in fact, my mum recorded it, I watched. I thought it was so cruel, so out of order. They can't compare Dwight and Pete at all. There's no comparison.
"Pete is there and has been like his dad and he's fantastic with him. Me and Alex just so want to get on with him. We'd love to have him, his brother up - just real happy families. And, you know, for the kids' sake. Hopefully it will happen."
Perhaps in the future...
