Despite losing out to the Black Eyed Peas in the singles chart, it's not all doom and gloom for Leona Lewis (what's wrong with number two anyway?)... The X Factor winner's record Echo sold more than 50,000 copies on the first day of its release this week and now looks set to go straight to number one - leaving behind JLS, Robbie Williams and Queen, whose greatest hits got a push thanks to the X Factor special this week.
That's not the only bit of exciting news for the singer though. The Hackney girl has also been been chosen to sing the title track for Avatar, James Cameron's anticipated movie which is set to be released on 17 December. As the director's last big hit was Titantic, Leona has already been compared to Celine Dion, whose track My Heart Will Go On topped the charts for weeks. Let's see if she does so well with I See You, which has been written and produced by the same composer, James Horner.
There's no stopping the girl!
