Leona Lewis' ex demanding pay-off?
We were fairly surprised and a teeny bit saddened when Leona Lewis split with her childhood sweetheart Lou Al-Chamaa. The 24-year-old had grown up with Lou in east london's Hackney and the pair began dating when they hit their teens.
But despite their relationship surviving Leona's victory on the 'X Factor' and her subsequent success, the star split from Lou last month. And although it was claimed theirs was an amicable separation, it's being reported that Lou is demanding £1.5million from the 'Bleeding Love' singer, citing his contribution to her success as reason for payment.

According to reports, Leona has offered him their £600,000 house in Hackney but he has refused and wants more. And he's apparently using the fact that he filled in Leona's 'X Factor' form as evidence of his input to her fame and success.
A friend of the former couple blabbed to The Sun: "He believes he has played a huge role in Leona's success. They have been together for more than ten years and he has encouraged her to fulfil her potential. He believes he has the rights of a common-law husband.
"He even filled in her X Factor application form and believes he then played a huge role in her success - not only as her partner but also professionally within his new position in the music industry. He claims he owns a piece of some of her songs and should benefit financially." They added: "She has offered him their house in Hackney but he insists that is not enough. It looks like it could get messy. It's not like he is sitting at home in tears, though. The split was more on his terms and he is currently living it up in Miami."
Meanwhile, Leona is currently on tour and it has been rumoured that a random man answered the door of her hotel room in Cardiff earlier this week wearing only his underwear. We hope Lou doesn't find out…
