Lily Allen says she's 'too busy' to record her new chat show as she's promoting her album
If you were one of the very few people who tuned into Lily Allen's TV show, 'Lily Allen & Friends', and enjoyed it then you'll be disappointed that plans for her to bring back the critically panned show have been shelved due to Lily's promotional commitments for her new album...
She said: "I loved doing the series and I’m definitely interested in discussing ideas in the future."
But Lily's decision has left BBC3 with a Lily-shaped hole in its schedule, though few in TV land will notice, if viewing figures were anything to go by.
BBC3 Controller Danny Cohen said: "We’ve got a gap because we’re not doing another Lily Allen show.
"But I’m hopeful we’ll find something else. We have irons in the fire."
