Lily Allen admits that her chat show wasn't the best thing on TV and that she wasted licence-payers' money
We've never met anyone who liked (or even saw) Lily Allen's chat show, 'Lily Allen and Friends', and it seems the singer didn't rate it either. She said the BBC3 show, broadcast earlier this year, was "probably five out of ten".
Which you would have thought would be the end of the matter, but no, the folks in charge of the purse strings at the BBC have forked out our cash on a second series.
Lily added: "I made a lot of money out of it. Thank you, licence-payers — that was very nice of you. You think Russell Brand is your problem. Actually, it’s me."
With the sort of gob on her that Lily has, it surely can't be long till she makes a clanger of Brand proportions...
