Lindsay Lohan leaves rehab
Troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan has left rehab, her attorney Ed McPherson has confirmed to USmagazine.com. He said simply: "She has been released from Inpatient rehab."

The 24-year-old actress checked into UCLA Medical Centre on August 2 after serving 13 days in prison for violating her probation relating to a DUI back in 2007.

Li-Lo was sentenced to 90-days in prison followed by 90-days in rehab, but was released from the former early due to good behaviour and overcrowding.

But why she was released early from the medical centre, US gossip website TMZ have since suggested that Lindsay's doctors "have already concluded her psychiatric problems are not nearly as severe as first thought. In addition, the doctors do not believe the drug dependency issues are as severe as first thought."

It has also been reported that Lindsay may have been misdiagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and that the prescription pill for the disorder, Adderall, may have sent the star spiralling out of control.

Lindsay was reportedly taking five different prescription pills before she was sent to jail; Zoloft (antidepressant), Trazodone (antidepressant), Adderall (aforementioned), Nexium (acid reflux) and opiate Dilaudid.

Meanwhile, her mother Dina has told The New York Daily news they'd make a "formal statement" in the morning (US time) and had said recently during the 'Today' show in the US that Lindsay will be returning to her native New York.

She said:"She [Lindsay] will be coming back to New York. When she went out to Los Angeles when she was 19, I had to let her go and let her live and fall and fail and survive.

"Without failure, there's no success. I was there in close proximity, but you can't make your child not go out and go to a club and not get behind the wheel of a car. I certainly don't condone any of that behaviour. They're gonna do what they're gonna do when they turn 18, 19.
"California is a wonderful state, but it's a different game you play there."

But it's not over for Lindsay; she will be subject to random drug tests as part of her probation until August 2011.
