Lindsay Lohan might be currently in New York keeping her head down and trying to stay out of trouble, but there's a new twist in her court room saga… The troubled star has finally decided to reject a plea deal - thought to have been a 90-day jail term, instead choosing to attempt to prove her innocence over theft allegations.
As gossip fans probably know, the Mean Girls actress is accused of leaving an LA jewellery store without paying for a £1,500 necklace. Since the 24-year-old is already on probation over a drink-driving case, she faces a lengthy spell in prison if found guilty of theft.
TMZ reports that a preliminary hearing will take place on April 22, when Judge Stephanie Sautner will take over the case from Judge Keith Schwartz.
What will the verdict be? And whatever will Lilo show up the court room wearing this time?
