Madonna buys £27 million new home in New York
Madonna has splashed out on a new pad in New York's elite Upper West Side that is rumoured to have cost her Madgesty £27 million. The home comes complete with fourteen bedrooms, thirteen bathrooms, a wine cellar, a garage and a garden, which seems awfully big for her family of four. Though of course, we have to bear in mind all of Madonna's help and her desire for an adopted sibling for baby David Banda. And it seems that Madonna may be missing life in the UK, as her new house is similar in style to the one she has left behind in London.
A source said:
"She is trying to recreate London in New York City. It’s perfect for her."
And apparently the Queen of Pop paid £3.5 million below the asking price for the Georgian house. Oh, to have a spare £3.5 million floating around in our bank balance...
Reports are also suggesting that Madonna is not content with her mansion purchase and already has her eye on a nearby English-style country estate. When can we move in!
