Madonna might have hit 50, but she's showed no sign of slowing down. Fresh from working with Louis Vuitton for two seasons, the Queen of Pop has been snapped up to be the face of Dolce & Gabbana for Spring/Summer 2010.
With celeb-chums ranging from Kylie to Posh, the Italian duo could probably have taken their pick of models, but they're still particularly delighted to have landed Madge, revealing on their online magazine, Swide.com:
"To have Madonna in our campaign is a dream come true."
It's not the first time they've paired up though; Dolce & Gabbana designed to wardrobe for Madonna's Girlie Show in 1993 and Sticky & Sweet tour this year, plus the singer's Italian roots have worked in her favour; next season's collection is heavily inspired by Sicilian heritage. The campaign has already been shot by renowned snapped Steven Klein in New York, so we might get a glimpse soon.
