Madonna reveals the sadness she feels since divorcing husband with Guy Ritchie but says she is finding comfort in her work
Madonna has so far done a marvelous job of putting on a brave face sine her quickie divorce with Guy Ritchie. But now the queen of pop, who has continued with her Sticky and Sweet tour despite her marital breakdown, has opened up to express her sadness over the split.
Madonna said:
"I'm sad about my personal life. But I feel very blessed and very lucky that I have the opportunity to do what I do in my professional life."
The star added that her current tour "provides a distraction that keeps me going". Which is probably why she's been working harder than ever. And we all now there's nothing quite like throwing yourself into your work to get over a break-up.
She continued:
"It would be horrible if I was just thinking about getting a divorce and had nothing to do."
We can't imagine Madonna sitting still for five minutes, let alone having nothing to do.
