Mischa leaving LA
Mischa Barton has decided to quit LA and head back to London to be close to new British boyfriend, DJ Ali Love.
According to sources, the former 'O.C' star can't wait to leave Hollywood behind to return to the UK, despite only dating her beau for little over a month.
A friend close to the 24-year-old British-born actress has been quoted by Heat magazine as saying: "Mischa’s found a great new guy. She can’t wait to move to London to be with him. It’s already in the works."
The loved-up pair have already enjoyed a romantic break in the South of France and were spotted looking intimate at the Lovebox festival in east London recently, where 28-year-old Ali - real name Alexander McLovan, was playing.
So now Mischa is looking for places to live in London, with the help of fellow British celebrity friends such as model Daisy Lowe and actress Jaime Winstone.
The friend added: "Instead of Hollywood gigs, Mischa’s focusing on a stage career in the West End. She wants to spend a year in London and see where things go with both the theatre and Ali. She’s so happy to be starting afresh. She’s so in love!"
The actress has had a tumultuous time in LA over the last year; police were called to her Hollywood apartment last July to attend to a "medical issue" which later saw her placed under psychiatric hold. After her release she put the shocking situation down to pain experienced from a botched wisdom tooth operation.
And despite living in the States, the star has always wanted people to "discern that I'm an English-Irish girl who grew up in New York."
