Nadine Coyle 'lucky to alive'

Singer Nadine Coyle has revealed that she and her family are "lucky to be alive" following a four month carbon monoxide leak in her former LA home.
The 25-year-old Insatiable singer explained that she, her family and fiancé Jason Bell could have died following the poisonous gas leak from a cracked heating boiler, which was finally spotted by a gas worker called out by Nadine's concerned mother Lillian.
Speaking to The Sun, the Girls Aloud star said: "Everyone could have died. We're lucky still to be here. My mouth erupted in blisters. I couldn't sleep or eat or think straight. Everyone got really drowsy and we kept having to go to sleep. We all felt like we had really bad flu. My older sister got so ill we thought she was dying.
"It was the worst time of my life, being ill while looking at everyone I cared about getting sick as well."
Luckily for the star and her family, her house near Huntington Beach, Los Angeles, was well ventilated, which ultimately kept them all alive. Nadine added: "It turned out the boiler was cracked all the way up. Everyone was shocked when we found out because it's so serious."
The star, whose debut solo album flopped after only reaching No.47 in the charts, has since moved into another house.
