It's not often that we hear from the LA loving Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle, but the singer has just admitted to experiencing some Cheryl Cole envy. And who can blame her. Since Cheryl became a judge on the hugely successful ITV1 talent show 'X Factor', the Geordie lovely has scored a No.1 single with 'Fight For This Love' and a No.1 album with 'Three Words'.
But 24-year-old Nadine has insisted that there's no rivalry between herself and Cheryl, it's only Chezza's close friendship with fellow 'X Factor' judge and music mogul Simon Cowell that she is slightly envious of. And we'd all love a close friendship with Simon Cowell for Christmas!
The star, who resides in LA and is set to release a solo debut album next year, told Closer magazine: 'We're not at war. I phoned her up after she performed on The X Factor to tell her how fantastic it was. I think anyone would be envious that Cheryl has Simon Cowell's backing! He's such a big player, but in truth I've been lucky to work with some big really big names in the States."
So things don't look too bad for Nadine. The Bambi-limbed singer has been working with acclaimed songwriter Guy Chambers, who has worked with Robbie Williams and Spice Girls, and collaborating with American rock band Matchbox 20 guitarist Kyle Cook.
And having one of the strongest vocals in GA, we can't wait to have a listen to her album next year...
