Naomi Campbell blames former boss for her reputation of being difficult
Supermodel Naomi Campbell has criticised her former boss and blamed him for the unflattering reputation that proceeds her. Naomi insists that Elite chief, John Casablancas, father of The Strokes singer Julian, made comments about her being tricky and difficult to handle when she tried to leave his agency.
Although, throwing a mobile phone at your assistant while incandescent with rage isn't going to help the way people perceive you, Naomi...
But the British model claims Casablancas started the first ever rumour that she was diva-like, saying:
"He had to attack me because I decided to leave. Models can leave agencies. I was not under a written contract. "I was shocked to see how he acted.
"He started that first rumour (that I was tough to work with)".
But the model still works with the world's top photographers, adding:
"The people that love me, love me and that's what matters to me".
