Nicola Roberts is planning to head back to college to boost her beauty knowledge with a course on the subject, ahead of the launch of her new cosmetics range, Dainty Doll.
The Girls Aloud star, who has a whole year off now that the band have taken a sabbatical, is set to touch up her technical expertise in all things to do with make-up, with a source claiming: "Nicola is serious about her beauty range and doesn't want to put her name to anything she's not 100 per cent sure of.
"She wants to know the ins and outs of everything, which is why she's looking into doing a course."
They added that the surprise success of Dainty Doll, which started off as just a bit of fun, means that Roberts is now taking her range very seriously.
They said: "The range started off as a bit of fun for the TV show 'Passions of Girls Aloud' but now she's focused on making Dainty Doll work. If that means going back to school to learn about the business, then she's prepared to do it."
And while Roberts has her career plans set, so do the other girls. Cheryl Cole will be back as a judge on the 'X Factor' come Saturday night, Sarah harding is appearing in the upcoming 'St Trinian's' sequel, Kimberley Walsh is also taking acting lessons and Nadine is working on solo material in LA. Let's just hope they won't forget their roots...
