Nicole Kidman donates £230,000 to the victims of the bushfires in Australia
Hollywood star Nicole Kidman and her husband Keith Urban have donated £230,000 ($500,000 Australian) to the victims of the horrific bushfires that have struck in Australia.The Aussie-born star donated the huge sum on a satellite link during a live telethon in Australia called Australia Unites.
The golden couple, along with the gorgeous Orlando Bloom, whose grandmother lives in Australia, have been persuading other celebrities to follow suit with their generous gift.
Nicole has been grieving "for the people struck so devastatingly by this disaster” while husband Keith called the atrocity “gut-wrenching”.
Nicole added:
“As Australians, I think the biggest thing is that, no matter where you are in the world, we support each other and we rally.”
