Our fave boyband, One Direction have made U.S. music history after topping the 200 Billboard charts with their second album.
Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson have now sold 540,000 copies of Take Me Home in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. No other British band have seen their first two albums go in at number one in the American charts - after Up All Night, secured the No. 1 position with 176,000 copies in March this year.
Harry said in an interview this week: 'We just want to say a massive thanks to all the fans who have supported us,' 'We can send tweets and thank them, but 140 characters is never going be enough to say how much it means.'
19-year-old Niall Horan also said: 'We were a little bit nervous about how people were going to take it,' However, their celebrations might not be quite up to rock star standard... 'We're finishing rehearsing soon and we're going home to bed.' Rock and Roll!
One Direction will launch a worldwide tour in February - will you be going??
