Rumours that the original members of Sugababes are set to reform are currently spreading like wildfire. And we're keeping everything crossed that the reports are true...
According to numerous reports on the net, the founding members including Mutya Buena, Siobhan Donaghy and Keisha Buchanan, are in currently locked in talks about a possible comeback.
The girl group hit the headlines recently when 24-year-old Keisha announced that she would be leaving the group, a decision that she claimed she wasn't entirely responsible for. The devastated singer was was swiftly replaced with Eurovision entry, 21-year-old Jade Ewan, who joined current members, Amelle Berrabah, 24, and Heidi Range, 25.
Mutya Buena recently told GMTV, following Keisha's sudden departure: "I suppose now theres no original Sugababes left we should all just reform again."
And it seems that the girls are on the verge of doing just that. It's being claimed that the original threesome are in talks (for the second time this week) with a potential producer and their label (thought to be Warners) about the prospect. It's also being claimed that all the girls have been offered separate solo deals too.
But we are already desperate to know what the group will call themselves. We'll keep you up to date with all the details as soon as we have them...
