Johnny Depp had a big fan in Penelope Cruz even before they met! She's admitted that the second phrase she learned in English was in the hope of starring alongside the hunky actor.
She's been promoting Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides with Johnny, and told The Mirror:
"When I first came to America I only knew two phrases in English. One was, 'How are you?' and the other was, 'I want to work with Johnny Depp.'
"Then after I worked with him on Blow, I learned how to say, 'I want to work with Johnny Depp again!'"
As you'd expect, he certainly lived up to her expectations too:
"He's very addictive and he just gets better and better over the years.
"He's a good friend and he's someone who's very trustworthy, incredibly clever and funny."
Yeah, he's still our dream man!
