Katy Perry offers her reasoning behind the Lady GaGa hermaphrodite rumours
We were left reeling after witnessing internet footage of Lady GaGa on stage earlier this year with what looked quite a lot like a penis.
And even though we thought the 'Poker Face' singer couldn't shock us more than she already has, the short clip spurred rumours that the singer could be a hermaphrodite.
The 23-year-old singer's spokesperson branded the insinuation "ridiculous" while other gossip websites claimed the star had previously admitted: "It's not something that I'm ashamed of, just isn't something that I go around telling everyone. Yes. I have both male and female genitalia, but I consider myself a female".
So now the 'I Kissed A girl' singer Katy Perry has felt compelled to wade into the debate to claim that GaGa pretended to have a penis to gain more publicity. And something the Lady doesn't need more of at the moment is publicity...
Perry explained:"It's all very calculated. She knows what she's doing. She put something in her knickers, a mini strap-on (sex toy). Bless her if she does have a d**k, but I am certain she doesn't".
