Pete Doherty arrested in the early hours of the morning in Gloucester and remains behind bars
After what seems like months and months of keeping out of trouble, Babyshambles rocker Pete Doherty has been arrested this morning in Gloucester for a number of offences including drink driving.
D'oh.
The troubled ex-boyfriend of supermodel Kate Moss, was arrested after a sold-out performance in Gloucester's Guildhall. Pete, who has a history of drug and drunk related offences, was stopped by police for drink driving, possession of drugs and failing to stop.
A spokesman for Gloucestershire Police has since said: "At approximately 12.30am officers on patrol in Eastgate Street saw a car being driven erratically, it continued down Barton Street and was stopped in Derby Road.
"A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving, possession of drugs and failure to stop for police, he remains in custody at this time."
Doherty sent to jail last year for breaching a probation order following a number of arrests relating to his drug use. He remains in custody.
