Pixie Lott scraps acne treatment amid fears it might make her voice hoarse
New singing sensation Pixie Lott has a number one under her belt already and long legs to die for but the 18-year-old does suffer from acne and she has just discovered that she is unable to use the best available treatment as it could give her a hoarse voice.
Sounding croaky doesn't seem to have done Amy Winehouse much harm as a singer...
Pixie, who topped the charts last week with her debut single 'Mamma Do', was considering a course of a powerful medication called Roaccutane, but has had to think again because the treatment can affect the vocal cords.
A source said: "Pixie is obviously upset she can’t really take the medication but her voice is too precious to risk losing it.
"She’s so talented though that a few spots won’t ruin things for her."
We're sure she'll grow out of it anyway.
