According to WENN, 19 year old Pixie has secretly been working on tracks in the studio and the tunes could hit airwaves later this year, with a source revealing:
"Pixie is a really talented girl and will surprise a lot of people. We have been playing music together for a while at my home. She's got a great vibe and writes good songs, I think you'll hear more of her this year."
Another insider describes the sound as similar to Linda Perry's (Pink's song writing collaborator) 4 Non Blondes.
In the meantime, one female who is riding high in the music biz now is Ellie Goulding - the 22-year-old singer-songwriter has finished first on the BBC Sound of 2010 list - the accolade previously given to Mika, Adele and Keane.
