The restraining order placed by Rihanna against ex-boyfriend Chris Brown has been lifted by a judge during a court hearing in LA yesterday.
The 23-year-old Rude Boy singer's lawyers agreed to reduce the restraining order over Brown and it's since been replaced with a level one order, meaning that the couple can have contact as long as the 21-year-old doesn't harass, stalk or molest Rihanna.
US gossip website TMZ claim Rihanna wasn't present in court, but her lawyer confirmed to the judge that the star had no objections with the new order.
Back in August 2009, a five-year restraining order was placed against Brown, meaning he had to stay at least 50 yards away from Rihanna at all times following his assault on the star earlier that year after a pre-Grammy Award party.
Brown was required to serve five years probation, sentenced to more than 1,400 hours of community service, and attend court-ordered domestic violence classes, which he completed in December last year.
Speaking about the attack on a US TV show, Rihanna had reflected:
"It was embarrassing that he was the the type of person I fell in love with. So far in love. So unconditional that I went back. It's humiliating to say this happened. To accept that? It's a traumatising experience.
"It was a wake-up call. It was a wake-up call for me. Big time."
