It was inevitable that the New Moon PR train would bring a bucket load of Rob and Kristen rumours with it, but the film's director might have given to biggest spill yet. In a interview with Time magazine yesterday, she revealed that she had to warn the Brit pin-up off his onscreen lover initially:
"After I cast him, I told Rob, 'don't even think about having a romance with her... She's under 18. You will be arrested.'"
She then adds:
"In terms of what Kristen told me directly, it didn't happen on the first movie. Nothing crossed the line while on the first film.
"I think it took a long time for Kristen to realize, 'OK, I've got to give this a go and really try to be with this person.'"
We don't think it would have taken us quite so long!
