Robbie Williams' mum Jan is reportedly doing "incredibly well" after undergoing an emergency heart bypass. The singer, who was reported to have dashed back to the UK from his home in LA to by his mother's side, actually stayed put in the States but spoke to his family on the phone everyday.
And now mum Jan, who was booked in for the heart operation shortly after complaining to doctors last week of chest pains, is said to be on the road to recovery.
Robbie's sister Sally said:
Well be taking Christmas to her in hospital. Robbie has been speaking to mum every day, and called her this morning. He will see her as soon as he can get back from America.
"Well all have Christmas dinner together when Mum gets out of hospital. It was all very much a shock. They found the problem on Thursday and operated on Sunday. The disease of the artery was life threatening, but Mum is doing incredibly well.
Get well soon.
