Ekaterina Ivanova sells story to the media and calls former lover Ronnie Wood an 'evil goblin'
Hall hath no fury like a woman scorned, just asked the spurned lover of Rolling Stones guitarist Ekaterina Ivanova. The 21-year-old former cocktail waitress dated 62-year-old Ronnie for 18-months, but the famously fiery couple split following his arrest almost two weeks ago for her alleged assault.
Ekaterina, who lived with the rocker in a £1,400-a-month castle styled house in Surrey, told Hello! magazine that Ronnie, known for his battle against alcohol abuse, acted like a petulant child after a drink and even described him as an "evil goblin".
The blonde waif said: "The whole thing started off like a fairytale. But then it felt like an evil fairytale. When Ronnie and I moved into a tower my friends were laughing and saying I was like the princess trapped in the tower.
"He went all Jekyll and Hyde. I'd be trapped there with an evil goblin king."
And Russain-born Ekaterina denied that she had only embarked on a relationship with Ronnie because of his wealth and fame, insisting: "I've always liked guys in bands, skinny and rugged. He was the ultimate. He would do things on the spot, which was exciting. When we met, it was like we were the same age. And he sort of stayed there while I've grown into a woman."
"He was like a child with tantrums when he was drunk, throwing water bottles and doing impressions of my voice. It was like trying to keep a child under control. In the end I was so unimpressed by everything."
She added: "I'm not materialistic. I'm now living in a small flat. I've realised age does matter. I'm hanging out with guys my own age - we have things in common."
And the age gap between the couple was 41 years, so we can see her point...
