Katy Perry's father gives his verdict on Russell Brand after she introduces him to her religious parents, Keith and Mary
It looks like Katy Perry stuck to her word and introduced new beau Russell Brand to her strict, evangelical parents. It had been rumoured that the 'I Kissed A Girl' singer would take comedian-turned-actor Russell to meet his potential in-laws, which she did, at their ministry in California. And it would seem that although her parents Keith and Mary both approved, the pop star's pastor father doesn't see the 34-year-old as husband material.
Katy's dad said: "I have met Russell. I'm not thinking he's the guy who will be her husband, but he's a nice guy."
The pair have defied the critics with their two-month and still going strong relationship, with Katy seemingly taming the notorious womaniser.
