From the recent reports surrounding this Hollywood couple, we're not entirely surprised to hear claims that Ryan Phillippe and Amanda Seyfried have called time on their three month relationship.
It was claimed earlier this week that their relationship had been on the verge of petering out following a US source reportedly spotting them having what looked like a farewell chat over drinks at LA's Chateau Marmont.
It was then rumoured that the 36-year-old Crash actor had tried to seduce pop sensation Rihanna at a brunch party in Hollywood, before going on to another bash and reportedly leaving with a mystery brunette.
However, the 25-year-old Mamma Mia starlet denied the story, and according to Wenn, confronted reporters and shouted:
"That Rihanna story is not true. That is so f**king not true!"
Meanwhile, a source has told UsMagazine.com:
“They are not dating anymore. And it’s not a big deal for either of them.”
Phillippe was married to former Cruel Intentions co-star Reese Witherspoon for seven years and they have two children together; Ava,11, and Deacon, 6.
He later split with the Legally Blonde star, now engaged to Hollywood agent Jim Toth, and began dating Aussie actress Abbie Cornish, who was linked to the actor prior to his split with Witherspoon.
Before Phillippe, Seyfried dated her Mamma Mia co-star Dominic Cooper.
Another source added:
"At one point, there was a chance it would develop into something more serious, but it never did."
