Ryan Phillippe reportedly dumped by Aussie actress Abbie Cornish as she moves out of their LA home after three years together
Good news ladies; gorgeous Ryan Phillippe is back on the market and presumably looking for a shoulder to cry on. The 'Crash' actor was reportedly dumped by his long-term term actress girlfriend, 'Somersault' star Abbie Cornish. The 27-year-old Australian born starlet was spotted moving out of the 35-year-old's LA home, in which they they were sharing, over the weekend. Cornish's spokesperson confirmed that the pair had split but declined to comment on rumours that Phillipe had been unfaithful.
The couple, who met on the set of war drama 'Stop-Loss' in 2006, got together shortly after Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon announced their separation after seven years of marriage. Witherspoon and Phillipe have two children together, daughter Ava, 10, and son Deacon, 6.
Cornish was always linked to the collapse of Phillipe's marriage, with speculation that the pair became romantically involved while he was still with Witherspoon. She explained to W magazine recently: "It was a really difficult time for me. In a normal, successful career, someone usually learns these things bit by bit. For me, it was like night and day. I woke up one day and there was this whole new thing I had to process and deal with."
But with news that Witherspoon is single after splitting from actor Jake Gyllenhaal, maybe our former favourite couple could contemplate rekindling their romance...
