Amanda Seyfried has confirmed her romance with Ryan Phillippe despite recent rumours linking the heartthrob to pop star Rihanna.
The Hollywood actress has also opened up about her heartbreak following her split from British actor Dominic Cooper.
Speaking to Elle magazine, the starlet said coyly about Phillippe:
"I've been 'seen' with him [Phillippe]."
But Seyfried, who is currently promoting new film Red Riding Hood, was reluctant to discuss her relationship with the 35-year-old Crash actor, who was formerly married with two children to Reese Witherspoon, following her painful split from Mamma Mia co-star Cooper.
The couple met at Kate Hudson's Halloween bash last year, but last month it was claimed they had called it off after what would appear as false rumours romantically linking Phillippe to Rihanna.
Reflecting on her former long-term partnership with 32-year-old Cooper, the star told the publication:
"I was just kind of foolishly thinking that the two of them were done and Dom and I were involved. But we weren't really as involved as I thought. So I got my heart broken pretty hard. And then it took a long time for us to break up again. After that, it's really hard to open myself up to a new person. Really hard."
And on falling for him on the set of their hit movie, she continued:
"It's one of the easiest things in the world. You're both open. You're put in a situation where you have to make out with each other. It's easy for things to get carried away."
Seyfried also revealed that she once dated True Blood hottie Alexander Skarsgard, but was too preoccupied with Cooper to take it further, adding:
"We dated. He's super funny, but I was too involved with Dom."
And on which actor has been the best snog so far, the actress confessed:
"I can't lie. It didn't suck making out with Channing Tatum and Justin Timberlake."
