While a reported one billion people around the world prepare to watch the Michael Jackson memorial service later today, one person who will be battling with their nerves is BGT's Shaheen Jafargholi.
Amazingly, the 12-year-old from Swansea has been asked by the Jackson family to sing at the memorial alongside music legends Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey, Lionel Richie, Smokey Robinson and Diana Ross.
After secretly flying to LA yesterday, Shaheen said: "Michael was a huge inspiration to me. Im nervous, but Im honoured and privileged to have been invited to perform here."
The young star's Jacko tribute act had apparently been watched by Michael and he had liked it, prompting the family to extend the invitation.
A source said: "The family thought hed be a great person to get involved.
"They wanted it to be about artists loved by Jackson, past and present.
"So he will add some youth to the line-up and is a great example of how Jacksons legacy lives on."
Good luck, Shaheen!
