Troubled actor Charlie Sheen has been fired by Warner Brothers form US sitcom Two and a Half Men, following the star's increasingly erratic and unpredictable behaviour.
In a statement released to the press, the Hollywood studio announced:
"After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen's services on Two and a Half Men effective immediately."
The 45-year-old star was put on hiatus on February 24, but has since been let go following concern by the studio over his "statements, conduct and condition."
Sheen, who has been living with two porn star "goddesses" since going off the rails on alleged drink and drug benders, was paid £1million per episode for the show, which is one of America's most successful and lucrative series of all time.
The actor, whose long-term publicist has also parted ways with him over his recent behaviour, reportedly released a statement via TMZ, saying:
"This is very good news. They continue to be in breach, like so many whales. It is a big day of gladness at the Sober Valley Lodge because now I can take all of their bazillions, never have to look at whatshisc*ck again and I never have to put on those silly shirts for as long as this warlock exists in the terrestrial dimension."
The star claimed recently that he was clean and sober but still made derogatory remarks about the Two and a Half Men producer and co-creator Chuck Lorre in radio and internet interviews.
Sheen has two daughters with ex-wife actress Denise Richards, and twin boys with recently estranged wife Brooke Mueller.
We hope Charlie Sheen seeks help and sorts himself out before the situation gets any worse.
