There's more drama for troubled actor Charlie Sheen following reports that his home was searched by police yesterday.
Despite his claims that he wasn't raided by police for guns and drugs, an LAPD spokeswoman released the following statement to People:
"LAPD detectives responded to Charlie Sheen's home this evening to investigate a possible violation of a temporary restraining order. It came to the attention of the LAPD that Sheen is the registered owner of firearms.
"This is an investigation to determine if he is in possession of firearms and ammunition in violation of the [restraining order]."
It's being claimed by the US gossip website that police confiscated bullets and an antique gun and that Sheen continued to calmly eat his dinner throughout the raid.
Last week police visited the Hollywood star, who was fired a few days ago by Warner Brothers from his sitcom Two and a Half Men due to his recent erratic behaviour, to remove his twin boys with estranged wife Brooke Mueller after she obtained a restraining order.
The couple have reached a private custody agreement, but in accordance with the order, "the restrained person cannot possess, have, buy or try to buy, receive or try to receive, or in any other way get guns, other firearms or ammunition."
Sheen, who also has two girls with ex-wife Denise Richards, later Tweeted:
"The LAPD were awesome. Absolute pros! They can protect and serve this Warlock anytime!!"
TMZ are now claiming police responded to alleged threats made by Sheen that he was going to harm himself.
