We felt a bit sorry for Sienna when she was reportedly dropped as Maid Marian in new film 'Nottingham' for being too young and thin to star opposite Russell Crowe (OK, well not that sorry).
But now the starlet has picked herself up and signed on to star in her first play on Broadway. Sienna will be Miss Julie, a sexually provocative daughter of a landowner in 'After Miss Julie', at the Roundabout Theatre's American Airlines auditorium on 42nd Street in September.
And this will give the actress a chance to prove her talent, since all we seem to hear about her is criticism of her complicated love life. Sienna is said to be eager to get back on the stage after the success of her London debut in the Young Vic's West End production of 'As You Like It'.
A source said:
"Sienna has been desperate to prove that she is a talented actress and wants to be noticed for that rather than what she's wearing, who she's going out with or what clubs she's getting drunk in. And Broadway is the perfect chance to show the critics what she's got."
Good luck, Sienna!
