Tom Hardy says that he's not angry at Jonathan Ross, following rumours he got annoyed at the host during a taping of an interview on his show.
Jonathan showed a clip of Tom in a modelling contest on the Big Breakfast, after which the actor reportedly got annoyed and refused to cooperate with the rest of the interview.
The Dark Knight Rises star says that's not the case, and that he's friends with Jonathan - he's just not actually allowed to talk about his upcoming role as Bane in the new Batman film!
Tom told The Sun:
"I heard that someone thinks I was really genuinely upset with Jonathan Ross. Not at all.
"It was funny as hell and embarrassing yes, but I was in on the gag and winding Jonathan up to put him in an awkward seat for a laugh…
"No one on the Batman unit can utter a word about the film. Me and Jonny were messing around. I'm sorry if people got the wrong impression and feel that I was an a**hole.
"If people want a good laugh at me desperately trying to get up the ladder, tell 'em to watch Minotaur. That's a pile of s***."
